Julie Rogers （born 6 April 1943）is an English pop singer.
She is best known for her multi-million selling song, "The Wedding".

ジュリー・ロジャース（1943年4月6日生まれ）は、イギリスのポップ・シンガー。

ミリオンセラーとなった「The Wedding」で知られる。


She has had a varied professional life, working as a dancer, secretary, and stewardess (CA).
In 1964, she made her record debut with a cover of Doris Day's hit “It's Magic”.

彼女の職業は点々としており、ダンサー、秘書、スチュワーデス（CA）など。

1964年にドリス・デイのヒット曲「It's Magic」のカバーでレコードデビューを果たす。


Her second single, “The Wedding,” was a big hit.
It reached #3 on the UK Singles Chart and #10 on the Billboard HOT 100.
It became her biggest hit. (Sold over 7 million copies worldwide).





２枚目のシングル「The Wedding」が大ヒット。イギリス・シングルチャート3位、Billboard HOT 100 10位。

彼女の最大のヒットとなった。（世界で700万枚以上のセールスとなった）


The original song, “La Novia,” was written by Chilean singer-songwriter Joaquin Prieto in 1961.
Popular Italian singer Tony Dallara covered the song in 1961 and made it a worldwide hit.

オリジナル曲は「ラ・ノビア」。1961年にチリのシンガー・ソングライター・ホアキン・プリエトが書いた曲。

イタリアの人気歌手トニー・ダララが1961年カバーし、世界的にヒットさせた曲である。
