つばきファクトリー Tsubaki Factory 山茶花工厂
2015年04月29日に結成された、ハロプロ研修生からなるユニット。
オリジナルメンバーは、浅倉樹々、山岸理子、岸本ゆめの、谷本安美、新沼希空、小片リサの6名。
ユニット名には、Berryz工房の精神を継承するという意思が入っている。
2017年02月22日、1stシングル「初恋サンライズ/Just Try!/うるわしのカメリア」でメジャーデビュー。
2017年12月30日、第59回日本レコード大賞最優秀新人賞を受賞。（就活センセーション）

Tsubaki Factory is a Japanese pop group under Hello! Project, originally formed
with six members from Hello Pro Kenshuusei in late April 2015.
The lineup was announced consisting of only Hello! Pro Kenshuusei trainees,
including Asakura Kiki, Yamagishi Riko, Kishimoto Yumeno, Tanimoto Ami, Niinuma Kisora, and Ogata Risa.
The name Tsubaki Factory holds several meanings, most of which surround a type of Camellia tree blossom.
"Tsubaki" originates from three kanji used in the past; Tsu (strong), Ba (leaves), Ki (tree), while in floriography the blossom
also holds the meanings of pride, gentleness, and charm. Historically it was believed that the Tsubaki was a holy plant,
as it seemed the leaves continued to grow greener during the winter while most other plants withered away for the season.
"Factory", similar to fellow Hello! Project group Kobushi Factory, represents the carrying on of the spirit
of senior group Berryz Kobo after entering their indefinite hiatus.
Following these various meanings the hope is for them to grow into a group that emobides nobility
and elegance, and stays fresh and strong like evergreen plants.
During a fan club event on August 13, 2016 a surprise announcement revealed the addition of three new members taken
from the Hello Pro Kenshuusei, Ono Mizuho, Onoda Saori, and Akiyama Mao.
2017
On February 22, Tsubaki Factory released their major debut single, "Hatsukoi Sunrise / Just Try! / Uruwashi no Camellia
（初恋サンライズ／Just Try！／うるわしのカメリア：First Love Sunrise／Just Try！ ／Beautiful Camellia）".
On July 26, Tsubaki Factory released their second major single, "Shuukatsu Sensation / Waratte / Hana Moyou
（就活センセーション／笑って／ハナモヨウ：Job Hunting Sensation ／Smile ／Floral Pattern）".
On November 16, Tsubaki Factory were also announced to have won a Newcomer Award from the 59th Japan Record Awards.
At the ceremony on December 30, they were presented their award and were later announced
as the winners of the Best Newcomer Award out of three other artists.
2018
On February 21, Tsubaki Factory released their third single, "Teion Yakedo / Shunrenka / I Need You ～Yozora no Kanransha～
（低温火傷／春恋歌／I Need You ～夜空の観覧車～：Cold Burn ／Spring Love Song ／I Need You ～Ferris Wheel of the Night Sky～）".
On July 18, Tsubaki Factory released their fourth single, "Date no Hi wa Nido Kurai Shower Shite Dekaketai ／Junjou cm ／Kon'ya Dake Ukaretakatta
（デートの日は二度くらいシャワーして出かけたい／純情cm／今夜だけ浮かれたかった：
I Want to Shower Twice Before I Go Out on the Day of My Date ／Innocent cm ／I Wanted to Be Festive Just for Tonight）".
2019
On February 27, the group released their fifth single, "Sankaime no Date Shinwa ／Fuwari, Koi Dokei
（三回目のデート神話／ふわり、恋時計：The Third Date Myth ／Gentle, Clock of Romance）".
On October 9, it was announced that Asakura Kiki would gradually resume activities as she recovers from her injury,
but would not dance or participate in their fall tour.
It was also announced that their next single would be released on January 15, 2020.
During the single's promotion period, Asakura would not participate in lives or release events
with the rest of the group, and would instead hold separate talk events.
2020
On January 15, Tsubaki Factory released their sixth single, "Ishiki Takai Otome no Dilemma ／Dakishimerarete Mitai
（意識高い乙女のジレンマ／抱きしめられてみたい：A Conscious Girl's Dilemma ／ I Want to be Embraced）".
On October 8, it was announced on the official Hello! Project site that Ogata Risa has been suspended
from all activities for an indeterminate amount of time due to rule violations.
After it was discovered that Ogata had been using a secret social media account to post contentious statements,
Ogata admitted to the account being hers and subsequently apologized.
She offered to have her activities suspended for the time being to reflect on her behavior.

山茶花工厂是早安家族旗下的女子偶像组合。2015年04月29日由6人结成。
成员为浅仓树树、山岸理子（队长）、岸本梦乃、新沼希空、谷本安美及小片莉莎6人。
2016年08月13日再加入3人而成为9人体制（9人皆曾是Hello！Pro研修生）。
2017年02月22日正式出道，并随即于该年末接连夺下日本有线大奖新人奖和日本唱片大奖最优秀新人奖。
2015年
04月29日，宣布结成，团名取为「山茶花工厂」。
2016年
08月13日，宣布新成员小野瑞步、小野田紗栞 、秋山真绪加入。
2017年
02月22日，发表主流出道单曲「初恋日出 / Just Try！ / 美丽的山茶花」。
06月16日，官方公告，浅仓树树被诊断出腰椎间盘突出症。
由于此病症必须专心进行疗养，因此活动全面停止，之后的相关活动必须听从医师指示。
12月04日，获得第50回日本有线大奖新人奖。
12月30日，获得第59回日本唱片大奖最优秀新人奖。
2019年
10月09日，官方网络宣布，浅仓树树已能恢复部分艺能活动，随后也公布隔年新单曲的发售日程。
2020年
10月08日，官方宣布成员小片莉莎因违反公司而将暂停所有活动以示惩戒。
